+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I like to think of the bible as God's blog. You see history, thoughts, what we should do, what we shouldn't do..and. best of all, rants.

Along the east coast road, on the way to work today, I looked out at the clouds again and wonder, Jesus are you going to come back on those clouds?

Then my mind wandered over to Job. The beginning of the story wasn't a pretty post, and it certainly didn't reflect God is an altogether positive light - "have you seen my servant, Job?" Did he treat his servants like pawns?

No.

This is a father who is SO proud of his son, that he wants to brag about it EVEN though he knows that it doesn't cast Him in the best light.

Just like, "I'm not a good cook so my daughter cooks for us", "I'm the lazy one my husband drives me around."

Therefore it is said often that "man is the crown of creation"; and it is written that:

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained; What is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him? Yet You have made him a little lower than God, And You crown him with glory and majesty. - Psalm 8:3-6
